My husband and I moved to tiny town in rural Southern Mississippi with our four children thirteen years ago from Southern Louisiana (aka da boot). We had big dreams of moving to the country and living the farm life. Back home we had small vegetable gardens in the flower beds but we were never quite satisfied living on a 60’ x 110’ lot with neighbors so close you could practically reach out and touch them. So when we found our dream land in 2007, we couldn’t wait to move our children out to the middle of nowhere and live a simpler life!
